Welcome to Net-Cake

Welcome readers.  Today is Net-Cake’s launch day.  Yes December 10th, probably one of the least important days of the year.

Anyways, I’m sure some of you have been wondering for quite a while when we would launch.  After months of promises like “Only a few more weeks” , “September 1st, I swear” , you probably gave up on me.  To tell you the truth,  I forgot all about this site that I put dozens of hours into making.  Better late than never I guess.

The Site

Net-Cake is a site dedicated to web design and WordPress, two very popular topics.  We will feature tutorials, links, free WordPress themes, and a lot of other cool stuff.  The overall focus of the site is pretty cut and dry.  The web should be simple, with this site, it can be.

This website is dedicated to you aspiring young designers out there who haven’t a clue what you’re doing.  Terms like CSS and HTML scare you, all you want is to make a darn website!  Well, everyone here is more than willing to help you.  Of course that’s not to say that more experienced designers shouldn’t follow this site.  We always have new tricks and ideas that can be of use to anyone.

Who Am I?

You may be wondering “Who is this Paul D’Amora guy?”.  I’m just a guy.  Nothing to special about me, I design semantic and clean websites, eat, sleep, and occasionally bathe.  I’ll be honest, there isn’t any particular reason while you should consider me an authority on the subject of web design.  But look at it this way, I have a cool, working website with cake, and chances are you don’t.  Even if you have an awesome website, I still have cake.

All jokes aside, just take a look around.  Read a post or two.  If you like what you see, and feel a bit smarter, than this site  is for you.
